Emmarentia Parks closed – official notices
Dear Fellow Residents,
Please be aware that the City, in line with the national declaration of a state of disaster, announced at 16.00 that the Dog Walkers Park and the Emmarentia Botanical Gardens will not be accessible from tomorrow (19 March 2020).
We apologise in advance for the multiple emails emanating from us in such quick succession, but please be assured that we do not make such decisions lightly and are only doing so in the interest and safety of all our affected residents.
Please stay safe!

This is really stupid?? The only safe places to go during this pandemic are large, wide open outdoor spaces in nature. No other countries close down wide open spaces like parks? This is feeding into the panic.
Please let me know when the dog park at Emmarentia will re-open.
Why is Emmarentia still closed? The absolute least of mental health requirements would insist on as much open space be made accessible!
