Heartfelt ‘thank you’ from Emmarentia Eventide Home
Residents might remember donating in 2019 so ERA could organise ‘Christmas in July’ for Emmarentia Eventide Home.
However, because your donations were so generous, there was still money left over and ERA was able to give them a Christmas present as well.
ERA used the balance of the donations to buy an Open View decoder, pay for its installation and for the remote, all delivered and installed at the home on Christmas Eve.
“You have made a massive difference to the residents of ‘Eventide’ TV viewing time—we are all extremely grateful”, reads one thank you note from one of the home’s residents.
Another one adds: “It has changed our lives beyond our wildest dreams! Especially for those of us who love staying in touch with the outside world, and of course—sport! Your thoughtfulness and generosity is appreciated more than can be put into words!”
