Halloween—families come together
In our last newsletter we showed you photos of the graves inside the Geldenhuys cemetery on Hill Road and spoke about its history.
On November 1 last year, residents, egged on by their children, organised a very successful Halloween evening. And what better place to meet up than outside the very same cemetery.
There were vampires and witches and all manner of monsters (adult ones included). What no-one forgot was their bags and buckets to put all their sweeties into.
Neighbours wrote welcoming signs on their gates encouraging ‘trick or treaters’ to ring the bell. A lot of fun was had by all.
