The race starts and finishes at Marks Park, corner Greenhill and Orange Road. Participants will park inside Marks Park. The race will begin at 8am. Everything is expected to be over by 9am.

There will be temporary road closures (see map) on major intersections. Marshalls and JMPD will be at major intersections. Residents will be allowed access in and out of the area with the help of an ERA residents’ pass although access will be restricted while runners are on the route. (Residents’ passes will be posted on Emmarentia WhatsApp groups or e-mail info@era.org.za to get yours. You can either print it out and show to the marshalls or show it to them on your phone.

Event organisers’ undertakings

• they have asked Metro Police to enforce stricter traffic control on the route and parking areas
• they have undertaken to clean up after the event
