Info from the event organiser – Run Zone Athletics Club:

Distances: 42km, 21km, 10km and 5km

Set up on the day: 04:30am to 06:00am

Race Start Times: 06:00am and 06:15am

The event will end at 2pm. Event organisers expect +- 3000 athletes to participate.

Road Closure: There will be a temporary road closure for the duration of the start (05:30 – 06:30) on Judith Road, Orange Road, and Beyers Naude Drive. However, once all the runners have passed through, partial road closures will be enforced.

Soft Closure will be located on Jan Smuts Ave near Lower Park Drive.

The route will be extensively manned by both JMPD at busier intersections and our own club marshals who will make every effort to maintain a smooth traffic flow with minimum delays on the affected route.
