Notice of public meetings to receive further inputs from the public for the amendment of the Draft Air Pollution Control By-Laws, Air Quality Management Plan and the Water Services By-Laws for the City of Johannesburg
The City of Johannesburg Metropolitan Municipality published its intention to consider amendments for the above mentioned By Laws and Management Plan. The request for public comments was published in daily newspapers and in the Extra Ordinary Gauteng Provincial Government Gazette; Local Authority Notices 1372 of 2018 and 1456 of 2018. The public was granted 30 days commenting period.
Further to the above notices, and in order to enhance Public Participation in the By Law making process, the public is invited to the public meetings to receive further inputs to the amendment of the By Laws and management Plan.
For all the meetings, registration and tea will be served from 08:30 and meetings will start at 09:30, with lunch served at 13:00. The Schedule of the Public Meetings is as follows:
